Dave Poulin has been recording audio since 1960 when his dad gave him a portable reel-to-reel tape recorder for his birthday. It was the beginning of a life-long relationship with audio electronics and devices. Dave's interest in music was as much about sound as it was about the music itself. To help him make better recordings, he learned to play a number of instruments, and today is accomplished on guitar, bass guitar and keyboards. Dave is also a singer and has provided backing vocals on hundreds of recordings, jingles, and live radio and television performances by artists such as Wayne Rostad, Neil Young, Jesse Colin Young, Bobby Vinton, Bobby Vee, Carole Pope & Rough Trade, Alanis Morissette and many, many more.

An avid photographer, Dave's love of the art initially led him to taking a number of photos for album covers. He learned video production - shooting and editing music videos, and has recently focused his lens on real estate, shooting videos for Ottawa real estate agents.

Years ago, through music sequencing and recording, Dave became proficient in the use of computers. With an apparent aptitude for "getting around in the digital world" he learned how to use a wide range of software. Today, Dave is an in-demand web designer.
